DALLAS, TX - Britt Sharrock Golf Performance (BSGP) hosted its first junior golf tournament of the spring at Bear Creek Golf Club on Sunday. This is the first of three golf tournaments of the spring. Play was on the West course of Bear Creek.
"We really enjoyed having all the golfers participate in the tournament at Bear Creek. Bear Creek has some challenging holes." Britt Sharrock, owner of BSGP said.
The tournament consist of two divisions for 7-11 year olds and 12-18 year olds. The 7-11 division plays from modified tees and play 9-holes. The 12-18 year old division plays 18 holes.
Jase K. was the winner of the 7-11 division with a 9-hole score of 45. Cooper C. won the 12-18 year old division with a score of 78.
"Everyone played really hard." Sharrock said. "Playing better golf is about recognizing patterns...good patterns and bad patterns. Use the good patterns as future references. Evaluate the bad patterns to devise a plan for better practice."
